Students Star in Film Shown at Bath Film Festival

College News

Earlier this year, nine of our performing arts and media students had the chance to work on a professional film, and on Tuesday 7 November, it premiered at the Bath Film Festival.

'Femme Fatale', a darkly comic thriller which won the Bath Film Festival's 2017 IMDb Script to Screen Award, was screened for the first time on Tuesday 7 November. Written and directed by Kulvinder Gill, our actors worked alongside him, Director of Photography Philip Peel and actors  Chandrika ChevliTomasz Aleksander. Some of our media students also helped out behind the scenes, gaining industry experience of working on a professional film set. All of our students who participated have received IMDb credits, which looks fantastic on their CVs and UCAS applications.

As our students couldn't get to Bath to attend the premiere,  we're hosting our own screening of the film at 13.10 on Friday 17 November in the Drama Studio. Philip Peel will also be attending and will host a Q&A with our students.

Congratulations to Grace Aluko, Olivia Diaz, Emily Francis, Jodi Griffin, Kerry Lockett, Lucy Miles, Sophie Shearer, Elise Sheppard, Kamce Vasilev and Araike Severino Da Silva for their work on the film and we can't wait to see their names (and faces) on the big screen!
