Itchen Celebrates With Annual Celebration Event

On Monday 16 December we welcomed back former Itchen students and their families to celebrate their achievements in our annual Celebration Event.

All of the students had been nominated by their teachers for outstanding contributions and efforts relating to their subjects. They were presented with a glass award, certificate and gift voucher by Principal Alex Scott.

The evening was started with a performance of ‘From Now On by performing arts students Keevi Maidment and Elle Stokes, as well as a video presentation showcasing highlights from the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years.

The teachers who had nominated the students had written a passage about their time at Itchen, which was read out by Deputy Principal Becky Stratton and Assistant Principal Steve Perkins. Heads of Faculty were also present to catch up with the students and find out about the amazing destinations they've all gone to since leaving us in the summer.

The evening was concluded with another performance - this time it was 'Never Enough' from The Greatest Showman, by Georgie Ross-Clyne.
