The Athletics Academy was launched in 2016 due to popular demand. We intend to create a legacy of success in this area which is already shared by many other sports in the Academy.
Members of the Athletics Academy will receive expert coaching, strength and conditioning workshops as well as masterclass sessions from experts. To develop students' skills, they will compete in national and local competitions. Our former students have included cross country champions and we hope to provide even more opportunities for success.
Students will have the opportunity to visit elite training centres such as the University of Bath and Lee Valley. There will also be chances to apply for American scholarships to further development your athletics training and sports qualifications.
