Welcome to the Golf Academy

The Itchen College Golf Academy started in September 2013 and is now regarded as one of the top golf academies in the United Kingdom.

Since its launch, the Golf Academy has achieved tremendous success winning many prestigious tournaments, including the South and South East Intercollegiate Tour, the South and South East British Schools and Colleges, the Hampshire Team Championships (also 2nd and joint 3rd), and Individual Order of Merit winners in both the ICT and BSC. The Academy also finished second in the National Finals of the ICT and 6th, 7th and 8th positions in the national championships.

Players have gone on to represent Hampshire and Hampshire Schools and many have the ambition to join Lewis Scott , who is currently studying and playing golf at the University of Northwestern Ohio in the USA on a scholarship, and Lawrence Cherry, who is now representing England Schools in the home internationals.

All players will have the opportunity to further their golf career, whether it is playing or coaching and therefore go on to achieve their full potential within the sport.

The Golf Academy has provided me with the opportunity to develop my golf skills and now I'm at the University of Northwestern Ohio in the USA on a 100% scholarship, something that I would never have achieved if I had not joined Itchen College two years ago. My handicap is now 1 and I have played in weekly fixtures playing against some of the best players in the southern counties. If you are serious about your golf and see it as your future join the Golf Academy, I did and look at me now!
