Head Netball Coach is selected for the England Team
Head Netball Coach Yasmin Parsons has been selected for the England Team headed to New Zealand to compete in the three day Cadbury Netball Series.
The England side, who are currently ranked third in the world, are scheduled to face the world champions on the 28th & 30th October and the 1st November. The Vitality Roses will be flying to New Zealand a few weeks before on the 8th October in order to quarantine. The team will be battling to win the Taini Jamison Trophy.
Yasmin said: "This is my first senior test series and I am so excited! This is a dream come true to be selected into a senior side and this is something I've been striving for since being in the programme. I am over the moon about this opportunity! I am hugely thankful to Netball NZ and England Netball for putting this together and allowing fans to have something to look forward to. It also provides us an opportunity to come up against the best leading into the Commonwealth Games!"
A big congratulations to Yasmin for securing a well deserved spot for the New Zealand Tour. We wish Yasmin and the rest of the England Netball Team the very best of luck. Everyone at Itchen is behind you!
