As a result of the recent developments regarding Coronavirus and in an effort to remain COVID-safe, we have made the decision to move our open day online. We can confirm that this online event will be going ahead on Saturday 17th October when the original open day was scheduled.
This is an excellent chance for both parents and Year 11 pupils to gain a valuable insight into life here at Itchen College, student experiences, the courses we offer and what facilities are available. This will be a great opportunity to gather information from staff and students via:
A Live Q&A Service
In addition, we will be running a LiveChat service from 10am-12pm on the day. This service will allow parents and prospective students from home to send questions to members of staff and receive instant responses.
A Talk from the Principal
A unique talk and welcome to Itchen College from our Principal, Alex Scott. Alex will be running through vital aspects such as the general college structure, our achievements, some FAQs and other essential information.
These presentations will include members of staff and Heads of Faculties going into more detail on their courses, the content and modules which are included and what makes the learning experience at Itchen stand out from anywhere else.
An Introduction to the College
A brand new promotional video for Itchen College. Join four of our students as they give you a tour of our classrooms and our facilities. This will provide you the opportunity to see our sports hall, dance studio, science labs, creative arts block and our classroom settings, amongst more.
A collection of videos from former students detailing life at Itchen College and what made them love it here so much.
You will have access to our careers information where we discuss how our courses are suitable for your chosen career path, the enrichment opportunities available to you to support this and also where some of our alumni are now.
On our open day we will have an accessible FAQ page operational so that many of the question you may have can be answered for you immediately.
Please continue to monitor our website and our social media channels for further news and updates.
