Business Students Raise Money for Animal Rescue Charity

Business

For two weeks during January, business students ran stalls in the Student Centre to raise money for a local animal rescue charity.

The level 2 students raised funds for Second Chance Animal Rescue, a charity based in Southampton which aims to rehome unwanted domestic pets.

Students ran several stalls at college over the two weeks. They included a raffle, a sweet stall and also guess the name of the teddy and guess the number of sweets in a jar competitions.

Students undertook the task as part of their customer service unit and managed to raise an impressive £85.

The charity was very grateful to receive a donation from the students and said the money will go towards medical care.
