Business Trip to New York

Business

Between Monday 20 March and Saturday 25 March, our Business students flew out to New York, USA.

Our students did a variety of activities whilst they were out in US including visiting City Hall, Ellis Island Immigration Centre, the Statue of Liberty and Wall Street for a workshop on undertaking stocks and shares.

The students had a fantastic time and learnt a lot about business, as well as seeing the sights of New York.

Below are some quotes from our Business students about their experience:

'New York was an amazing experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. All of the activities were fantastic and my personal highlight was the Rockefeller Center where we viewed New York at night.' - Tom Kitley

'I really enjoyed the trip in New York. First of all we went to an amazing city and also because it was very well organized with quite lot of freedom and free time. Also we visited almost all of the main attractions and the group and the teachers were very friendly and kind. Furthermore, the price wasn't high for everything we did so I actually think that it was completely worth its price and if I could come back again I would always choose to go.' - Alberto Fenza

'Our trip to New York has been, for me, the best trip ever. The cost was good in relation to how many amazing things we did as well as for the quality of the hotel. Everything was well organized and we always had something to do. I had a lot of fun and I felt safe at all times on the trip. It was also nice to meet new friends and socialise in a better way with people who I had already met at the college. Last but not least, thank you to teachers Jan and George! I'm hoping to do something similar next year.' - Federico Filippi
