Business Trip to St Monica's Career Day
On Wednesday 24 May, the first year students of Business (double award) visited St Monica’s Primary School as part of their coursework.
The aim was to give the Year 5 and 6 children an insight to the array of careers on offer for them in the future, as well as helping the college students prepare for their second year of Business, where they will be required to manage a business event.
Activities carried out in the morning and afternoon were an excellent way to show the children the vast amount of career options available to them.
The ethnic and gender tolerance shown in the activities also ensured that the children were kept open-minded when thinking about their future aspirations.
The students had a great day and Business are looking forward to running more events like this in the next academic term.
