Public Readings for Holocaust Memorial Day on Thursday
English & Media
On Thursday 26 January, our AS Creative Writing students will be undertaking public readings as part of Holocaust and Genocide Memorial Day.
The students will be doing public readings as part of the 'reflective pieces from local students' segment of the event.
They will be doing their readings at the Jane Austen Lecture Theatre, in The Spark at Southampton Solent University. The event begins at 5.30pm for a 6pm start and guests are welcome to attend and support our students.
The public readings follow a long tradition of Itchen students taking part in Holocaust Memorial Day events with the University of Southampton and Southampton Solent University. Previous work from Creative Writing students - which is currently featured at the University of Southampton's exhibition on Holocaust Memorial Day - will be moved to Southampton Solent University for the purposes of the event.
