TwiHaiku Winners' Presentation

English & Media

On Thursday 26 November, students and staff were invited to see the presentation of the winners and runners up for the TwiHaiku competition run in October.

Although some were absent due to being on a Creative Writing trip, students who were at the college came along to support their friends and receive their prizes.

Shaun O' Toole, Learning Area Manager for English, thanked all who participated in the competition. The co-ordinator of the Creative Arts Academy and Assistant Principal, Andy Fitt, was on hand to award certificates to the runners up and winner.

Although there were three winners, only one, Katy John, was present to accept her prize. The other winners and runners up will be presented with their certificates and prizes at another time.

There were over 50 entries to the competition and we look forward to running more competitions in the future, encouraging creativity throughout the college. Well done to all who participated in the TwiHaiku competition and we look forward to seeing more of their work in the future.
