Two Weeks of Activities for Essential Skills

Foundation Learning

Our Essential Skills students have spent the last two weeks doing various activities to mark the end of the academic year.

The students visited Royal Victoria Country Park, Paulton’s Park, Netley Abbey Ruins, saw the new ‘Pirates of the Carribean’ film at The Vue in Eastleigh as well as having a game at Hollywood Bowl.

They also spent two hours at Oceana Night Club, Leisure World, thanks to General Manager Alex O’Reilly and Suzie from Icknield School, Andover who organised the event.

To top off their activities, the students visited Cycles4all based near Fleming Park Sports Centre in Eastleigh, where people can hire out bicycles for £5 per half an hour, where the students are pictured above.

It has been an excellent end to the term for our Essential Skills group and we're looking forward to another year full of activities from September.
