Welcome to Social Sciences & Care

Social Science & Care is a well-established and high achieving learning area, with a clear history of supporting students to exceed their target grades. Subjects are taught by a highly qualified team of specialists, some of whom are nationally acclaimed authors in their subjects. The learning area has well established links to local and national higher education institutions.

Our social science students enjoy a variety of trips throughout the year to national and international destinations, student work experience can be organised while on our courses. Our care students have compulsory work placements throughout the year in varied locations.

Social Science subjects consistently offer students high levels of academic success, setting and achieving aspirational targets, and providing clear routes of progression into higher education and employment.
