Introduction to Early Years Education & Care (Triple Award)

This is a course for those who would like to begin an introductory qualification for working with children or those who would like to progress to the Level 3 qualification.
This course is for you if:
- you love working with children and are looking for a career in this field.
This course will prepare you to work with children or progress onto the CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Care.
What topics will I study?
You will learn about working with children at different stages in their growth and development, up to the age of seven years. You also learn how to work with parents, carers and with other professionals in the field of child care and education.
A substantial amount of time every week is spent in compulsory practical placements with children, including schools and nurseries.
Please note: Students who take any Care course will be required to pay for a DBS (Disclosing and Barring Service) check. Support for this may be available.
What can I do after this course?
After the course, students can seek employment within nursery or school settings. They could also progress onto the Level 3 qualification.
