Visual & Performing Arts

A first year Acting student has been selected to be part of a panel discussion at the brand new NST City Theatre in Southampton.

Grace Aluko will be taking part in the panel on Wednesday 7 March after a performance of Gecko’s latest show, The Wedding.

Grace worked alongside Gecko earlier in the year and has now been chosen to be part of the panel which will interact with the audience after the show.

The discussion will explore two key themes from the show, integration and social cohesion, and will allow the audience to ask questions to actors from the show.

Several others are joining Grace and actors from the show on the panel, they include Gecko’s Artistic Director Amit Lahav, Zoie Golding from ZoieLogic Dance and representatives from Transition Southampton and The Southampton Collective, who aim to raise awareness of climate change and collaborative projects across the city respectively.
