Music Technology Student Releases Debut Album
Visual & Performing Arts
Music Technology, Art and Design and Musical Theatre student Joe Trotters has just released his debut EP, Kronos, with his band Cipher.
The Progressive Metal/Djent band is made up of Joe on guitar, Stuart Tarling also on guitar, Dave Cox on bass and Elliot Strugnell on drums. Together they have written and produced their own music at home with Joe using the skills he's learned in his Music Technology lessons, releasing Kronos on Friday 9 February on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and Amazon Music.
The band are playing at Bloodstock Metal 2: The Masses in Reading in March, and are hoping to progress to the semi-finals of the competition if they get enough votes from the audience.
Well done to Joe and his band, and we look forward to following their success in the future. We wish them luck in Reading in a few weeks time.
