Samuel Secures Place at The London Studio Centre

Visual & Performing Arts

Performing Arts student Samuel Denton is the third student to achieve a place at a dance conservatoire this year.

Sam will begin his training in September at The London Studio Centre on the BA Hons Theatre Dance programme, specialising in Contemporary Dance.

Graduate students have embarked on very successful careers, joining companies such as Rambert Dance Company, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, Michael Clark Company, Richard Alston Dance Company, Henri Oguike Dance Company, Phoenix Dance Theatre, The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Scottish Ballet, Spirit of the Dance, JazzXchange, Stomp, ZooNation, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Royal National Theatre.

Sam will be joining the same ranks as those who have gone onto perform in West End and regional plays and musicals, numerous television programmes, films and in the commercial sector. Many graduates from The London Studio Centre also are working as independent creative artists in dance and theatre.

Sam joins Charlie Randall and Kyron Hamilton who have also been offered places at prestigious dance and drama conservatoires. They will be performing, as well as many other talented students, at the Community Dance Platform on the 11 May.

Well done to Sam for his fantastic achievement!
