Health and Safety

Child Protection and Safeguarding

Students under the age of 18 are covered by the terms of the Children Act 2004 with respect to Child Protection Matters. The college's Child Protection Officer is Debbie Finch.

The college actively promotes all aspects of the Every Child Matters agenda, with particular emphasis on staying safe and being healthy. Students can log any concerns in person, or by providing feedback on our internal system.

The college employs campus wardens during the day and evening to ensure the safety of all students, staff, college resources and premises. Staff and students are asked to wear their College ID lanyards at all times.

Equality & Diversity

We actively promote equality and diversity and aim to tackle unfair discrimination and bullying within the college. We promote positive attitudes, encourage participation from all students and staff, and work hard to remove barriers to enable all of our students to succeed.
