If you have been identified by your school as gifted and talented - or have the potential to show us that you are - then it is likely that you will be selected for our High Performance Academy, known in schools as GATEway. We are an open access college and we pride ourselves on stretching, challenging and supporting every student. The High Performance Academy provides tailored, bespoke support for those students who are aspiring to achieve the highest grades in their A Levels.
To be eligible for the Academy, students need to have at least four GCSEs at A*-B and grades 9-6 in English and Maths.
I enjoyed the diverse range of subjects at Itchen, and the small size of the college gave it a friendlier and supportive atmosphere.
