Welcome to Foundation Learning

The Foundation Learning programme comprises of Entry Level and Level 1 qualifications. The programme has no specific entry criteria and provides a personalised and flexible approach to learning, so you can gain the skills and qualifications to allow you to progress to further study or employment.

Students will go out of the college on a regular basis, to enhance their learning and give them opportunities to practise the new skills they are learning.
- James Bailey - Head of Faculty
Many of our students go on to pursue further education once they have gained their foundation qualifications at Itchen.
