As part of their programme, international students will be enrolled in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), supporting their linguistic development, giving them a strong foundation on which to thrive throughout their academic journey.
ESOL lessons at Itchen have a strong focus across the four skills as well as on vocabulary and grammar, giving our students a solid grasp of the English and allowing them to leave the classroom immediately able to apply what they’ve learnt in class. Students benefit from both modern classrooms and facilities, in tandem with the outstanding rated education programmes and quality of teaching.
Our ESOL teachers are as experienced as they are travelled, with a combined 33 years of teaching across eight countries, giving them a comprehensive understanding of different learner needs.
Students on our one- and two-year A Level programme will have the opportunity to enrol in an IELTS exam, serving as an additional qualification that can support with university applications and enrolment.
