All students are asked to make a contribution of £30 towards to the College Fund at the start of every academic year. This fund provides benefits for the whole student body. These benefits include supporting the Student Centre, the college enrichment programme, sporting activities, music and drama events. Most of the student social events are subsidised by this fund.

There is a charge of £65 for students who wish to be part of the Sports Academy.
This charge includes: an Itchen College sports training top, college gym membership and transportation to off-site activities.
Should you not be selected to be part of the Sports Academy, this fee will be refunded.

External exams are mainly held throughout May and June. Examination and registration fees are paid by the College for most students. However, the College reserves the right to refuse to enter a student if they have not attended at least 90% of the lessons for their subject or if they have not satisfactorily completed the course.

Please note: invoices will be sent in the autumn and spring terms. If the student’s attendance improves significantly, the fee will be refunded after the end of the course.
Resources which are necessary for study in whichever course you choose will be provided, including access to electronic and online resources.
In some cases you may wish to purchase additional resources such as a revision guide.
Please also note that certain courses may on occasion require students to make contributions towards the cost of field trips, materials etc.
Access to a PC, laptop or Chromebook is recommended for all courses to support independent study.
