How to Apply
Attendance Expectations

At Itchen College, we place a strong emphasis on excellent attendance and punctuality, as these are key to academic success.

We expect all students to aim for 100% attendance, and attendance is recorded for every timetabled session.

  • If a student fails to attend for four consecutive weeks without making contact with the College, they may be withdrawn from the course.

  • If attendance falls below 90%, a student’s place on the course and exam entry may be at risk.

We understand that health and personal circumstances can sometimes affect attendance. In such cases, we will respond sympathetically and may consider support options, including the College’s Fitness to Study Policy, where appropriate.

We ask all students to respect and adhere to these expectations in order to make the most of the opportunities the course offers.
