Open Events

We were delighted to welcome prospective students and their families to the College for our two October Open Events – which sold out! The events provided an opportunity to explore our facilities, discover more about our wide range of courses, and meet our passionate and supportive teachers. Our next Open Event is Wednesday 29th April 2026.

Opening of The Colmer Building

The official opening of The Colmer Building saw past and present students and staff join us to honour Glenn’s legacy and the very best of Itchen that he inspired every day. The building stands as a tribute to our former Head of Sport and Director of Curriculum, who dedicated 20 years of his life to the College.

King’s Trust Team Programme fundraising and community work

Teacher Dylan Wrixon had his hair shaved by our King’s Trust students – they also held a bake sale in the Student Centre, including some hand-made bird boxes! The fundraiser was a part of their community fundraising projects.

The money that they fundraised was dedicated to completing a two-week community project at Merryoak Community Centre, clearing garden waste and building planters and a new bench!
