Our Open Events are your chance to come and see Itchen for yourself, explore our courses, meet staff and students, ask your questions and get a real feel for college life.

Throughout the Open Events, we’ll be running a series of talks designed to help you understand what life at Itchen is really like.
From academic support and enrichment to wellbeing, progression and student life, these sessions will give you a clearer picture of your future here. The talk descriptions provided for the event include an introduction to life at Itchen, High Performance, Student Support, and understanding post-16 qualifications and enrichment.

An introduction to life at Itchen, the values that shape our community, and the opportunities and expectations that support student success.

High Performance Programme (HPP)
Discover how our High Performance Programme supports ambitious students aiming for top universities and competitive careers.
The programme includes specialist support for Oxbridge, Russell Group, Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary pathways, alongside one-to-one guidance, interview preparation, work experience and alumni connections.

Student Support
Find out about the support available to help you succeed in your studies and beyond.
The session covers learning support, including SENCO support, guidance from personal tutors and careers advice, and how to access help throughout your time at College.

Understanding Post-16 Qualifications and Enrichment Opportunities
Explore A Levels, BTECs and T Levels, how courses are structured, and how to build a study programme that’s right for you.
You’ll also find out about enrichment opportunities that can support your wellbeing and help you develop new skills.
