2024 Hampshire Colleges Athletics Champions

Four athletes competed in the English Schools Athletics Championships, July 2024.

Welcome to the Athletics Academy

Members of the Athletics Academy will receive expert coaching, strength & conditioning workshops, as well as masterclass sessions from experts in the field. To develop students’ skills, they will compete in national and local competitions with support on how to manage competing outside of College as well.

Our athletics and strength & conditioning coaches help to design personalised programs tailored to athletes’ individual needs and goals. Sessions vary from weightlifting, plyometrics and core training. Our track sessions are designed to refine technique, enhance speed and build endurance.

Students will have the opportunity to visit elite training centres such as the University of Bath and Lee Valley. There will also be chances to apply for American scholarships to further development your athletics training and sports qualifications.
