The King’s Trust Team Programme at Itchen College is a free course for 16 to 25-year-olds who are not currently in education, employment or training, and applications for 2026 are now open!
Our King’s Trust staff support students in building confidence, meeting new people and gaining qualifications.
Off-site visits and activities are also a part of the course!
During Weeks 7 and 8, students will undertake a two-week placement to experience the world of work.
Jonathon, one of our current students, worked with a local charity. He said: “It’s quite gratifying knowing I am being useful and helping out wherever I can.”

This year’s cohort also planned a bake sale in the Student Centre and organised a charity head shave. The money that they fundraised was dedicated to completing a two-week community project at Merryoak Community Centre, clearing garden waste, and building planters and a new bench.
