Itchen Sixth Form College is celebrating another fantastic year of results, with students achieving brilliant successes across A Levels, BTECs and T Levels.

This summer, students have once again surpassed last year’s achievements. A Level students achieved an impressive 96% provisional pass rate, with more than a third securing top A*–B grades and two thirds achieving A*–C. Vocational learners also did exceptionally well, with a 99% pass rate and 80% gaining Merit grades or higher. Every T Level student passed their course, with all achieving Distinction or Merit.

Behind these numbers are countless individual stories of hard work, resilience and ambition. Some standout achievements include:

  • Vidura Ponnawila V Don Saparamadu – 4 A*s and off to study Medicine at Cardiff University

  • Ali Fahim – 2 A*s, 1 A and 1 B, heading to the University of Brighton to study Medicine

  • Grace Homyard – 3 As, going on to study Dentistry at the University of Sheffield

  • Ellie Collins – 3 As, starting Veterinary Medicine at Harper Adams

  • George Salter – 2 As and 1 B, joining the History (Astrophoria Foundation Year Programme) at Oxford University

Principal Alex Scott shared his pride in the whole college community:

“I am so proud of the determination and hard work of our students, supported by staff and the broader college community, alongside their parents and guardians. Their achievements underscore the college’s commitment to excellence in education, as reflected in our ‘Outstanding’ inspection outcome last year. I extend my congratulations to all our students and wish them every success in their future endeavours.”

These results are a celebration not just of grades, but of the dedication and determination shown by students throughout the year. Everyone at Itchen College is incredibly proud of what our learners have achieved, and we can’t wait to see what they go on to accomplish in the future.
