Our Psychologists have today been visited by one of the UK’s foremost Forensic Psychologists Yvonne Shell (Associate Professor of Forensic Psychology at the university of Kingston). Yvonne regularly visits the college to work with our students to establish career vision – broadening understanding of career pathways in Psychology – especially in the popular areas of Forensic and Criminal Psychology. Yvonne’s work is central to the Faculty of Science, Social Science and Cares’ mission of ensuring our curriculum is informed by and sequenced in way that supports clear engagement with higher education institutions and employers. Our students valued her many interesting stories of her life as a Forensic Psychologist with some of the UK’s most prolific offenders.
