“I joined Itchen College in September 2022 after fleeing the war in Ukraine, and when I arrived, my English was limited. It was a huge challenge, but l was determined to succeed. Since my qualifications weren't recognised in the UK, I had to start from scratch. I focused on improving my English and Maths, and I worked hard to excel in Level 2 Travel & Tourism. My efforts paid off when i achieved a Distinction Star, which allowed me to progress to Level 3 Triple Travel & Tourism. This year, I earned another Distinction Star, and I'm proud to have secured a place at university to study Marketing. It's been a long journey, but my perseverance and ambition have kept me moving forward.”
