Last week, we hosted a Christmas party to bid a fond farewell to our international students as the Autumn Term came to an end. The event was a wonderful way to celebrate the achievements of our students and mark the close of a successful term.
The evening featured a variety of activities, including a lively hula hoop competition and an escape room challenge, which brought out everyone’s competitive spirit. Guests enjoyed pizza and cookies, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere for students and staff to connect one last time before the holidays.
We also took time to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of several students:
- In Performing Arts, Flavia, Ana Luiza, Agustina, Carlotta, Olivia, and Luisina impressed with their talent, with their short play entitled “Will I See You Again?”, encapsulating the exchange experience. Written and performed by the girls, they blew the audience away with a phenomenal performance in their second language.
- In Sport, Adam excelled on the golf course, Asya made an impact on the football pitch, and Erni stood out on the basketball court.
- In Mathematics, Marco and Iris achieved excellent results, demonstrating exceptional academic ability.
A highlight of the evening was Erni’s rendition of “You’re Welcome,” which was met with applause and smiles all around.
The Christmas party was a fitting way to celebrate the success and contributions of our international students while wishing them well as they prepare to return home. We’re proud of all they have accomplished during their time with us and look forward to welcoming many of them back in the future.
