There are no formal entry requirements, but we would expect students to have some level of spoken and written English already – at least a high E1/low E2 level. Additionally, all students will need to do an initial assessment.
This course is for you if…
You are settled in the UK, but English is not your first language. It is designed to give you more support to improve your English skills and give you increased confidence and ability to communicate, study and work in the UK.
Topics Covered:
You will improve your English in all four skill areas: Speaking, listening, reading and writing.
You will gain in confidence and be able to better communicate for work, study and your general life.
You will improve your maths skills and understanding.
What can I do after this course?
If students gain the appropriate level qualification in ESOL, maths and the vocational award; you will be able to progress onto a Level 1 or Level 2 Course within the college.
