Any other vocational course or Level 2 course within our Creative Arts Academy will combine well with this course. This course can also be taken alongside English or Maths GCSE for students who wish to improve their grades.

What You Will Explore

Throughout the course, you will:

  • Investigate different types of media, including film, television, advertising, and digital content.
  • Learn about media industries, audiences, and how media products are created and consumed.
  • Develop your own creative media projects, from pre-production planning to editing and final production.
  • Analyse existing media products to understand storytelling techniques, representation, and industry trends.

You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.

  • Introducing media products and audience
  • Audio visual media skills
  • Print media skills
