• You will be assessed by independent assessors throughout your programme.

Course Duration

• Each section of the DofE Award must be done for a minimum period of time for an average of an hour a week over this time. To achieve a DofE Award you must show persistence, commitment and personal development.

What You Will Explore?

Each level of the DofE Award consists of four main sections (five at Gold):

  • Volunteering – Make a difference in your community through charity work, tutoring, or environmental initiatives.
  • Physical – Engage in a sport, fitness activity, or other health-improving challenges.
  • Skills – Learn a new skill such as photography, cooking, coding, or first aid.
  • Expedition – Plan and complete a self-sufficient journey, navigating and camping in the great outdoors.
  • Residential (Gold Level Only) – Take part in a shared experience away from home, such as a leadership course or conservation project.
