Our school liaison programme extends throughout Southampton and our wider catchment area and sees our staff provide information and guidance to these schools. As part of this programme we run summer taster sessions for years 10 and 11 here at Itchen College. If you are a careers representative in your school and are interested in finding out what Itchen can offer please contact our marketing department.

We are happy to come into your school and introduce you to everything Itchen has to offer. Itchen can offer assembly presentations, man stands at careers fairs or attend your parents evenings, for students and parents who have college-related questions.
We want to help your students making college applications and are happy to come into your school and support college application sessions. We can answer questions about the college application form, course choices and help proofread. Our staff are also available to conduct college interviews in your school.
Our Year 10 Taster Days are offered to a large number of school groups.
The aim of the Year 10 taster sessions is to introduce all Year 10 students to the type of college subjects that are available to study at Itchen and to reinforce the need for the best GCSE results possible in order to ensure students meet the entry requirements.
Our Welcome Event is specifically for Year 11 students who have applied to Itchen and takes place in July. The students will be able to experience a range of lessons which will help with their subject choices, particularly if they are still undecided.
